What do DUers do to support Democrats other than post on DU? I'll start...

1 - Every month or so I post something in support of the NDRC, hoping to get more workers/givers.

2 - Every election season we have canvassed in NH, but maybe not this year because of arthritis.

4 - We give pretty generously. We've budgeted $400/month for Aug, Sep and October this year.

And the rest of you???

Thanks,
LAS

we work to register new voters and we attend our county democratic meetings. If you only post on DU to handwring or complain you are serving no useful function and republicans depend on that

This involves training poll watchers and working in war rooms.

Right now, I am helping Juanita Jean raise money for an amazing project. The Texas state party has determined that there are 9600 democratic voters with high VAN scores who are living in my county but who registered in another county. Unless these voters re-register, they can only caste a limited ballot. We are sending each of these voters a filled out voter registration form and that can be sent back without additional postage to the election office. The fact that we can identify these voters is amazing to me

I had a good friend lose a judicial race in 2016 by less than 2500 votes. This project could put him over. The TDP is doing this in other counties also

11. VAN is the database used by the state Democratic Party

The party evaluates voters as to their likelyhood of voting for a Democratic candidates. Some of the data used is whether a voter voted in the Democratic or GOP primary and other issues are demographics. The 9600 voters each have a score of 60% or greater of voting for a Democratic candidate. When we block walk, we restrict our list or cut our lists to visit likely Democratic voters

I am a community organizer, art activists and public school advocate.

I did not start my advocacy recently, it has been my life‘s purpose.

“Action is my duty - reward is not my concern”

Posting at DU has always been a place to organize my thoughts. I document as much as possible. Sort of like notetaking during college. Once I write things down, not only do I not forget as easily, I have a place to return to to check for truths.
