I hosted after church luncheons and most were repeating RNC talkings points. I am not accusing the pastors , it is the group think of the congregations. They might say a food blessing but their minds are on Fox not a bible. This happened over a number of years. It has turned me off to religion in a deep profound way. Some of the mean things they say are horrific. I had business from many churches and the mainline were not so bad, but the independents who don’t answer to a conference can be more political .

fox also has direct competition - in most places people have choices a click away. not so with talk radio, which is the only major medium with no significant measurable (20-1) alternative on the other side of the political spectrum.

and talk radio stations can be coordinated by state gop and think tanks on the local level - to the particular range of a station. local fox can't say anything like those stations can, like screaming about kneeling athletes, full on support for trump, global warming denial - the hate and lies - etc - 15 hrs a day

i think mueller prosecutors need to start excluding jurors who regularly listen to rw radio - they clearly live in an alternate reality. in this all it needs for a hung jury is one juror whos a dittohead to ignore the evidence and continue to believe limbaugh that mueller and the deep state are capable of setting manafort up.
