Blaring that awful song before sporting events will always make some misty eyed.
I would be happy never to hear it again.

or those in the stands who are more concerned with, and photographing kneeling players than standing "at attention" themselves

ESPN has never broadcast the anthem before Sunday Night Football, it's just getting notice now because of all the controversy. But they're not actually doing anything out of normal for them.
