How will Republicans change after the election?

They won't.

For those that think the Repubs are are only trying to get thru the next election and then they will hold Trump responsible, they are mistaken. Repubs are not going to change.

They are not going to grow a backbone. They are not going to find courage anywhere they look. They are not going to hold anyone accountable. They are more of a threat to this country than Donald J Trump. They are cowards that want to hold onto power.

They should all be defeated. Every single one.

I am expecting a total trump meltdown with in days/weeks after Mueller issues the next round of indictments which will likely include Roger Stone ,Don jr and Kirshner. Mueller only waiting on the jury verdicts on the 20 charges against Manafort.

As I have posted before, I firmly believe the GOP leadership of the Senate and the House drew line in the sand and made it clear to trump he can not fire Sessions, Rubenstein or Mueller without packing his bags as they will have no choice but to go down the impeachment road...so GOP is screwed. Period.

Trump will explode like Mt. St Helens and it won;t be pretty as GOP does not want to deal with what they have to. Defend clear obstruction and they get destroyed in Nov elections or impeach trump and get destroyed in Nov elections

once the DEMS are in power, should it happen, they will go back to caring about things like defecits. Their message is basically 1 that works better as the minority power. They can go back to obstructing in congress and tell their voters they are fighting the evil Democrats for them. When they are actually in power, then we see they never actually believe any of it cause they never do anything about it.

that the Republicans who survive the mid-terms will be in deep red districts where the blue wave (if it occurs) cannot reach them. These Republicans represent the Trumpiest constituents in the country, they’re the ones who won their primaries by competing to see how far they could get their noses up the Donald’s crack.

These folks will sit and watch their purple district colleagues get blown out on election night and when the dust settles, they will look around and see that their only surviving colleagues are the real, true, pure Trumpers.

The lesson they will take away from this — which will be reinforced by spin coming out of places like Breitbart etc. — is that they survived because of their dedication to Trump, and their less-devoted colleagues lost because they weren’t truly Trumpy enough.

This will cause the surviving Republicans in the House to absolutely double and triple down on their worship of god emperor. Hopefully they will be out of the majority by this point though.
