Not taking them seriously is what they want because they work best in the shadows. I am disgusted by them, but I’m not foolish anymore. We must keep an eye on them and we must pay attention to what they say because they are deadly serious.

We must always remember that. They don’t give a damn about us. They’ve found a way of addressing their base right under our noses.

Bannon is reassertion his power now. What we should be doing is figuring out why and what his end plan is. But even if it comes to nothing we need to be alert.

He's working to destroy ours right now by whatever means it takes.

He claims democratic republics have failed entirely and that we need to destroy and replace them with white nationalist, Christian (useful for holy wars), authoritarian states. Though he uses more and longer words to describe it, basically fascist states. They presumably arise during and out of the ashes of western civilization after the apocalyptic events he visualizes that would be expected to kill off most of us. (He doesn't talk about that.)

His immediate plan, however, is to reinstall himself in the center of power in our government by re-ingratiating himself with Trump and keeping congressional power under increasingly authoritarian Republican control.

His stances on "deconstruction of the administrative state," righteous religious wars, massive anti-immigrant and anti-Islam bigotry, and pro-Trumpism make him useful to all the right wing power groups. Very much including the Kremlin, of course.

An ambitious little creep pushing the usual nasty archconservative agenda, but dressed up in the long, dense prose of the Nazi-fascist "philosophers" he admires. I wouldn't bet a nickle on Trump living a day past the takeover people like this plot.

Bannon's newest agitprop documentary, Trump @ War, is to be aired on September 9, the anniversary of Hillary's "deplorable" statement at a "Deplorables Conference," but the trailer's on Axios now. It's designed as usual to whip the right up into a righteous, self-protective frenzy of fear and hate against the left. Classic froth-at-the-mouth authoritarian populist GOTV stuff, but it works on those people.

It reportedly ends with the Charlottesville white supremacist chant, "We're fighting a war." "No Trump, no wall, no U.S.A. at all."

With Rachel she had progressive Brennan on at 6 so of course they had to show the other side at 7 with Bannon. Now they are repeating to make sure the farright see's they are not in the tank for the Democrats, as Trumps says.

They simply expose themselves as the vile people they are. Plus, I want to hear what our opponents advocate. And any legitimate news operation should show an interview of Bannon or any other Trump supporter. It is worth hearing.
