tiny voice:"Yes,sir" - BANNON is a wimpy craven coward & Ari mopped the floor exposed him - *video*

Ari's intelligence, calm control of the interview was masterful. He gave the cowardly fascist racist just enough (plenty) rope to hang himself with, which he did, and Ari forcefully brought up all the counter facts - the 83% of the tax slush going to the 1% while SHITLER/BANNON claiming to be Populists, BANNON's running a cash raising scam across foreign boundaries, no equivalency at Charlottesville - all done with the most civil firmness.

The telling point was after a couple of feeble attempts to talk over, BANNON surrendered when Ari stopped him cold with "Let me finish the question and I will give you plenty of time to answer" and BANNON *weakly* said: ---------------------"Yes, sir." -------------- With that submission, BANNON admitted being totally, completely *DEFEATED*.

And the interview cut away twice to two segments with a brilliant panel that eviscerated everything BANNON vomited.

There's sentiment here that Ari shouldn't have hosted the creep. Uh, sunlight and fresh air kills off sick things.

Here's the "Yes, sir" moment:

The feedback on DU has been interesting, however. Bannon was performing for an audience on one last night. Wonder how it was received by Cap’n KFC?

...as much as I enjoy seeing the fascists taken down a peg. Bannon will probably thrive as a victim of the "left-leaning media."

If Melber can sway a few people from what's left of modern conservatism, I guess it counts as a win.

My husband refused to watch Bannon, and, frankly, I couldn't stomach him either. But, hopefully, brilliant Ari beat that stupid Nazi to a pulp.

There's a short story by Romain ROLLAND about the Nazi build-up to taking over pre-WWII: A very cultivated, civilized professor sees what was starting to happen and closed himself up inside his digs, surrounded by all his artifacts of civiization - his music, art, books. Lived in his closed off corner of his world, removing himself from resisting, abetting the malignant growth outside.

*********Am *NOT* referring to you, my esteemed MoonRiver. Am clumsily attempting to counter the arguments against Ari around here. Aww, go ahead and watch the slimebag SWEAT in the video above!1

Ari, as well as my husband, are Jews, although separated in age by almost 40 years. My husband used to be gung ho to destroy these Nazi wannabees, but age has slowed him down. He seeks peace in our golden years, and this shit totally shatters any chance of that. Not to say he doesn't often burst out in a rage, or positively react to my daily anti-Chump rants, but he's not the determined anti-Vietnam war activist he was, back in the day.

Edit: I will watch the clip.

That usually means he’s done with the nonstop news track that his news-junkie wife seems able to withstand hour after hour after hour.

We recorded it so I’ll catch up sometime over the weekend.

I’m one of those who doesn’t want to give more oxygen to monsters like him. Perhaps sometimes it’s instructive and illuminating. But I doubt it’ll save or rehabilitate any souls.

that bannon was either broke or brave to talk to a lawyer on a program that is not fox news. After listening to the interview, I came away with that, in my opinion,: bannon was very nervous or trying, by talking so fast, to hide some of what he was saying. So glad Ari was able to pick up on some of his "charlatan moves". I agree with everything the panel said about bannon. It will be interesting to read about how bannon will be able to get the whole country to vote in support of trump in November. "sarcasm"

I saw snippits of it on youtube. The guy is beyond creepy. The counrty is being undermined by foreign power, that’s not nationalism. What manufacturing is he even talking about? no specifics given. His sees economy as if it was 1950s. He is drowning in his BS, trying to stay afloat and continue raising money. He keeps supporting the most extreme candidates possible which may actually be helping us in the general election. His goal is to take over gop with nazis even if the party becomes smaller, taking down dem party doesnt seem to be a priority for him. Well, his wishes are increasingly becoming true, more and more people are leaving gop and retiring from congress. He is obsessed with China threat without even understading the country and culture. Of course he doesn’t see Russia as a threat, it’s all about China to him. He is not all that smart after all, his plans don’t have any long term viability. His blatant racism prevents him from seeing anything worthwhile. America is funamentally different from Germany or other european countries. Our entire foundation is based on diversity not monoculture. They are trying hard making black people hate hispanics but it doesn’t work and they simply don’t have the capacity to understand why.
