Just because I am a Democrat.. proud life time member of the Democratic Party.. I am supposed ? to be understanding of everyone else's point of view.. but THEY can be dismissive of mine..most of the time I just let it fly over.. but there are times that I have had it up to my ears with understanding where everyone else is coming from..
Seriously I do not want to hear another word of how we as Democrats did not understand the working mans plight.. give me a break.. if it was not for the Democratic Party beating its head against the wall and forcing issues we would have become a dictatorship years ago..
Health care came from where? Social Security? Environmental protections? I cannot even begin to list them..
So do not cry to me how the Democratic Party is supposed to come up with a plan.. after nimrods on all ends of the spectrum decided to vote for Trump for change?? well you got what you voted for..

(101,326 posts)to make the working man, or woman, unable to fight back. And then trash health regulations and working conditions, while slashing taxes on the rich. It's so damn obvious which party has been bleeding the working population dry, and yet people talk as if the Democrats are the ones out to get them. The Republicans just pander to the bigots and convince the media that those bigots are the "typical working man".

(2,682 posts)Remember, 3 million MORE people voted for Clinton. If not for the antiquated electoral college, she would be our President. There was no failure in her campaign, there was no misunderstanding the working class, there was no failure to connect with voters (and all the other crap laid at her feet). The country DID vote for someone better -- we just didn't get her in the White House.
