Back in the day as well.
Now it looks like the AF is promoting these traitorous anti-democracy theists to Flag Rank.

Fuck this guy.
I have to say I'm glad he looks like a Pinky and the Brain Cosplay enthusiast - Sometimes a person's inner evil manifests as looking like a clown.
Ask Sessions and Farenthold, they sport the evil clown look too

I would assume that he is a product of this system.
The Polack MSgt
(13,188 posts)He was promoted out of the Andrews AFB "Show Wing" - the 89th Air Wing - which handles the white house transport, Air Force 1 and 2, so obviously he was on the fast track.
Academy pukes always look out for the "Right Type" of officers.
Basically if you are a connected Academy Grad you are on the fast track - until you fuck up publicly, at which point they never heard of ya.
Well, at least that's what it looked like from where I sat in the enlisted ranks.

(38,313 posts)It needs to be shut down, the useful bits divided between the Army and Navy, and its freakish "Christian" leadership retired.
The Polack MSgt

(38,313 posts)My grandfather was an Army Air Corp officer in World War II.
He was a non-conformist in many ways (especially about religion; he was fascinated by all the world religions) which was tolerated and occasionally celebrated during the war, but the new post-war Air Force would have nothing to do with him.
My grandfather got the last laugh as an engineer for the Apollo Project.
The overt Protestant Christian hypocrisy of the Air Force is not a new thing. They could fly, they had The Bomb, and it went to their heads.
