VOICEMAIL FROM A FAN: Youre the problem. You are the enemy of the people. And although the pen might be mightier than the sword, the pen is not mightier than the AK-47.

(3,056 posts)At least I hope they can. There's a "print" with everything today. It's not like when you had to keep the caller on the line, which will end up being this idiot's downfall. Chances are he's pretty sure it's still 1977 and as long as he hangs up with-in 30 seconds, they won't be able to trace it. But I'd definitely pursue this if I were that reporter. That's about as obvious as someone can be, although this could be another alt right blowhard who still lives in his parent's basement...even if they passed away 10 years ago.

(24,300 posts)they think all liberals don't have guns. I've lived in California since 1961. I have never met anyone here who doesn't have a gun. Usually several of them.

(17,984 posts)The solution is to arm journalists, right?
Seems like the most reasonable, responsible thing to do.

(638 posts)I saw another scary incident on c-span where a caller called for the assassination of president obama using the n word in the process. After Charlottesville these people are feeling empowered. We cannot take these things lightly.
