Long ago advice from a HS football coach:

"When you look across the line at your opponent and he's 50 pounds heavier, several inches taller and talkin' trash, you will REFUSE to be intimidated! You will grit your teeth, clench your fists, bull your neck and TAKE. HIM. OUT!"

It's about attitude.
