77 days and counting...

I can't wait until election day.

Will there be a "blue wave"? We hope and expect so.

But, what changes if Democrats take the House? Will they be able to over-see the Executive Branch?

The problem, at this moment, seems to be the Republicans in the US Senate. They are responsible for the turmoil and fear in our society. Mitch McConnell and Republicans could fix the situation very easily if they wanted. But, they do not want to fix it.

My greatest hope is that the American people will stand up on election day and act like true Americans.

If they do not, there is going to be hell to pay.

I would like to add one more greatest hope...I hope that the Russian hacking of our elections gets caught red-handed and is blown out of the water.

Dems will hold the purse strings. They'll also conduct hearings during which a lot of information will come to light that Republicans are keeping from being revealed.

I also believe that they'll use the powers that the House has over the Executive Branch to keep it in check. The president won't enjoy a House that's on the side of just about every one of his whims.
