He’s terminal now. He either goes soon or just clings to power until the voters formally end his misery on November 6th.

After today, this is no longer a functioning president of any sort.

Pence will be a weak lame-duck the moment he is sworn in.

We can deal with that much easier than dealing with the MAGAts. Republicans in congress don't fear Pence, because he has no base to speak of.

Never overreact to day to day developments. That is the path of the most inept handicappers and forecasters.

One week from now this will already have drifted to second tier news. Republicans are not going to back down. Trump's approval rating will barely be impacted, if at all.

This president is a lowlife who will go down in history as one of the worst Americans of all time. I am jealous of the younger generations who will see history play out that way. But it requires 4 or 5 full decades.

In the meantime we are still have Trump able to take countless deflective steps, and his supporters who will blindly follow him and invent apologies of their own. Hillary Clinton will be back on their lips, and so forth.

We have to wait this out. There is a plan that is becoming more clear. Manafort's next trial will come really close to showing a conspiracy with Russia involving at least the Trump campaign if not the orange abomination himself. Trump, Jr. may have to soon decide if he is more concerned with protecting himself or the man who abandoned his mother.

The big stories are coming faster and closer together. Watch and wait.
