Most say he doesn't hire 'best people'

A majority of Americans don’t think President Trump hires “the best people” to work in his administration, according to a new poll.

The Monmouth University poll showed 58 percent of participants said Trump doesn’t hire “the best people” — something he frequently claimed he would do during his presidential campaign. Only 30 percent of people polled said they believe Trump hires the best people, with 7 percent saying the quality of those hired by the White House has been "mixed."

The poll also found that 42 percent of respondents are “not at all” confident in Trump’s advisers and staff, while 13 percent said they are "not too confident" ...
