(872 posts)It's obvious that the collusion with Russia is very likely the reason she lost the election. IT WAS STOLEN FROM HER.
Democrats always stay silent and take the high road. If the situation had been reversed, does anyone honestly believe Drumpf and the repubs would not be spending 24/7 ranting and raving?
She should be out there telling the public what many of us already know....it took interference from Russia to steal the Presidency.
Our Republic is dying, and nobody on our side seems to care enough to raise some hell.

(37,648 posts)It'll take the focus off the real issue: Trump's corruption and involvement in conspiring w/the Russians to rig the election.
Second, I think it's not wise for her to speak out during the investigation. Better to wait until the report is in, and we know what's what. She is not an official Democratic Party leader.
I think she's smart to wait. I have no doubt she'll speak out boldly, when the time is right.

Many people are raising hell, but the MSM is OWNED by Right Wing oligarchs. Therefore, our message is censored.
Just now, on the Chris Hays show, Jess McCintosh is saying the TRUMP presidency IS ILLEGITIMATE.
You can't make much more noise than that.
Hillary should do EXACTLY what she is doing right now......sit back and let the criminals in the Dump orbit hang themselves.

Everything would be so difference if Hillary was POTUS now. And she didn't lose, she was cheated CHEATED out of the presidency, and we are all paying the price

(37,648 posts)we can impeach him, maybe. Then if we have enough seats in the Senate, and some Repubs on board (the Repubs in the Senate have more of the establishment Repubs than the House), we might be able to get him out of office.
One step at a time. If he had the best interest of the country at heart he'd step down. But he'll never resign, unless there's a worse fate for him in staying.

My humble opinion on the remedy?
It's in the Declaration of Independence-
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

(37,648 posts)I hope the Dems take a look at this, if we take back Congress this November. That's a big IF, but possible. IF there is evidence that Trump's crimes resulted in his election, or if there's proof that Russia's activities resulted in his election.
I suspect that NO ONE in govt will admit it, even if it's true. Because they don't want the public not to have trust in the election system. Even if it can't be trusted. That includes some Democrats, too. Besides, it would be hard to prove. We would have to accept that the crimes are so egregious that is beyond a reasonable doubt that the illegal activities resulted in a false result.

Suppose Robert Mueller comes up with overwhelming evidence that Trump colluded with Russia to become President, and that, were it not for Russias actions during the election, Trump would not have been elected. In other words, Trumps presidency is not authorized under the United States Constitution.
Impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate would remove Trump from office. This would remedy Trumps high crimes and misdemeanors.
But impeachment would not remedy Trumps unconstitutional presidency because it would leave in place his vice president, White House staff and Cabinet, as well as all the executive orders he issued and all the legislation he signed, and the official record of his presidency.
The only way to respond to an unconstitutional presidency is to annul it. Annulment would repeal all of an unconstitutional presidents appointments and executive actions, and would eliminate the official record of the presidency. Annulment would recognize that all such appointments, actions, and records were made without constitutional authority."
