it would follow that never open any links on DU. Amazing - I've never known anyone here 'fess up to that.

I used as a guide that LBN posts for example shouldn't be more that 12 hours old - anything else is really old hat.

The purpose of the post was to show the celebrations in Jamaica.

I only knew about them cos Malaise PM'd me earlier following my PM to her last night jsutsaying "1st, 2nd and 3rd. Later today here I searched for videos of the celebrations and found the link I posted.

Realistically how long is enough for something not to be regarded as being a spoiler. Anyone to whom it was significant would already have known the result after 16 hours.

It was available to record last night on the west coast at sometime between 8 and Midnight. I set the recorder at 8 then went to bed at 9. I got up at 5:15, avoided all sports channels, sites, and forums, but there's the results unasked for right in the subject line of a thread in General Discussion.

I ain't mad at you. I'm just saying I ended up having a very very short window to watch it. Three minutes, as it turns out. Not your fault. That's just what happened. But it's something to consider next time you're feeling like being considerate.

Nice to see our police with a sense of humorous good spirit on the occasion.

I'm guessing it will be mental when they arrive home so please posts more pics then.

would deal with the celebrations. They will probably be delayed because of the diamond league in Europe so all of them won't return at the same time. Who knows they may postpone until Heroes day weekend in October.
