He ends up in prison, broke, he and his family in jail...

So much so that he had himself convinced that what he was doing was just the way one did business. Totally normal business practices. He's gotten away with doing crap like this his whole life, so clearly it isn't criminal. NOPE! That's just the poison of privilege speaking.

No matter what happens from this day onward -- impeachment and prison or just a lost election/term limits plus scorn and ignominy, he will never recognize that running for POTUS was a massive mistake. He will die believing he is a victim of other people's unjust treatment.
