Leaving Texas this last time was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Due to our health we moved to Arkansas to be closer to my daughter.

(22,976 posts)And as a blue-state Californian, I understand you completely. Ive found most Texans to be terrific, friendly, warm people, but fiercely independent (or so they might think).
Texas really suffers from serious gerrymandering. If that could ever be fixed, Im certain that Texas would shift from red to blue.
