CNN: State case against Trump Organization would be 'nightmare' that destroys the entire family

CNN analyst explains how state case against Trump Organization would be ‘nightmare’ that destroys the entire family

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/08/cnn-analyst-explains-state-case-trump-organization-nightmare-destroys-entire-family/

A criminal case against the Trump Organization would open those numbers to prosecutors and eventually an open court.

His financial documents, including his tax returns, could be laid out in front of jurors and the public, the Pulitzer-winning D’Antonio explained.

“This is really his nightmare, “D’Antonio said. “He’s operated as a family business for all these years to avoid scrutiny.”

Depending on how the case went, it could also mark the end of the Trump Organization as it now exists.

“He wanted to hand give this whole enterprise off to his children, and his children spoke to me about how they would run it as a normal business and not be so flagrant in their publicity seeking,” he said. “They may never get the chance.”

a boat-load of money to several Russian oligarchs. They don't take kindly to being stiffed, especially by a man that has no way of rebuilding the fortune he owes. No one on the planet would lend him money, and he's run out of relatives to inherit money from. And his poor children! Little Don Jr, Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany, and Barron. They might have to actually work for a living, something they've never done before, and something they're certainly not equipped to deal with. Little Trump grandchildren eating government cheese. Oh, the humanity!

Looks like "the chickens are finally coming home to roost". I have no empathy for him nor his family. They all knew what he has done to get where he is today. The lies, the deceit, the whore mongering, the deals with the mob bosses; the casino bankruptcies and leaving small business owners to deal with the debt he owed them and forcing them to take 'little' or nothing while he lived the glamorous life. The lies he told about President Obama and the lies he continues to tell today about Obama's surveillance of him. Yes, every dog has its day, and Trump's day is upon us. Grab some popcorn; this looks like it's going to be good.

The people who have the least sympathy and mercy for their countrymen, are the first to expect that from others when they get caught doing illegal stuff. "The Family Business" w a big picture of his Grandkids in the front row. His children don't deserve to have another chance. They were ready to destroy this country over greed and nastiness and division. Ruin the future of 340 million peoples lives and children of their own that they love just as much. They conspired w the enemy to 'feather their nest' at the behest of the grandest country in the world, and they had chance after chance to fess up and fly straight. But, they didn't. And now it's on all of us to somehow find forgiveness for people that relished in dialing up hate for one another, and spending untold fortunes on pampering themselves.
All while the nation crumbled, citizens OWN lives rent asunder from economics and fear and poor health that they (sometimes) couldn't repair bc it was too expensive. They say they care about their children, but, did everything under the sun to ruin the climate and the Earth for them, and us. Flagrantly. They did all of this hiding behind religious folks who were ready to burn bridges and rip up legal precedent to get a woman's right to choose abolished. Not bc it was the right and human thing to do, but bc they got a win out of it. No more abortions and tax free churches. A fight they were wrong about from the beginning, but would take by hook or by crook, bc they couldn't find the Jesus like fortitude to SHOW other people how much better it was to live a Christian life. Lies, lies and more lies. An unbelievable display for the world.
It's been nothing but a shit show. They ASKED for this role. They had everything to gain and instead of working hard and doing the right thing for us all, they conspired w an enemy that killed soldiers during Korea and Vietnam, and the entire Cold War during. They have no honor. They are a sorry sorry group. If they want to give their kids something, start w an honest life and giving a shit about the stranger next to you/themselves. I am so exhausted by this group of malignant rich folks. Had EVERY chance in the world to do the right thing, but, they chose to be sneaky, mean, traitorous bastards and now when the axe is about to fall on the family money mill...they come asking for grace...holding their kids in front of them.
America holds OUR kids in front of us as well. We reject your family and ideals and desire nothing more than a fair shake, a good job, clean air and water, and a chance to live out OUR days as happy as you think you (the trumps) deserve to be.
Resign. Go away. Confess what you've done. Repent and call off this whole ugly mascarade you've put everyone through. The division in this country and the stuff you've broken may never get repaired. People have died. Fear has reigned and that was fine w all of you. Go AWAY trump family. Be ashamed and reconcile on your own time. Admit you stole the election from the first woman to be president. An honorable lady. A woman who has served her country honestly amongst a bunch of rich jackals for over 30 years. Step down, hand over the job to people who want it, and GO AWAY before we lock up the entire family for all our safety and move on without you. Your chances are fading. Fast. America is infinitely bigger than your grubby, twisted clan. God help you and all of us.

Just imagine how many thousands of wealthy family enterprises likely exist around the globe that are just as corrupt and even further entrenched into their governments. Most use the same tactics - faking attachment to a religion, lying and deceiving, abusing the media, concealing money in tax havens and using money laundering.....all while posing for smiley photo ops with a flag.

If nothing else good comes of this disaster that's fallen upon us, perhaps an awakening of millions of folks around the globe that's been provided by massive media coverage of Trump's crime family will cause people to finally ask questions and protest against their own oligarchs....and somehow find ways to temper this epidemic of corruption.

Human greed will never end but it hates the sunlight of public exposure and its accompanying shame.....

Your link says "On January 11, 2017, Trump announced that he and his daughter Ivanka would resign all roles within The Trump Organization ...". Because she's the one with the official White House position. Before then:

Key people
Donald Trump (chairman & president, until January 2017)
Donald Trump Jr. (EVP)
Ivanka Trump (EVP)
Eric Trump (EVP)
Michael D. Cohen (EVP)[2]
Jason Greenblatt (EVP)[3]
Allen Weisselberg (CFO)
Matthew F. Calamari (COO)[4]

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Trump_Organization&oldid=759009385

(Just to remind ourselves of the kind of scum Cohen is - that reference for him being an EVP is:

Michael Cohen is back on the airwaves playing up his boss Donald Trump's presidential campaign just one week after saying marital rape was legal and threatening to ruin a reporter's life.

The top adviser to the brash billionaire and Republican frontrunner appeared Wednesday on CNN in his first TV appearance since he said "you cannot rape your spouse" in the Daily Beast, comments for which he later apologized and calling the remarks "inarticulate."

"I said things out of anger and I apologized and moved on," Cohen, a Trump Organization executive vice president and special counsel to Trump, said Wednesday on CNN's "New Day." "In all fairness, who hasn't said something or done something that they regret simply trying to protect somebody that they care about."

Cohen has not apologized for telling the Daily Beast reporter asking about a rape accusation against Trump to "tread very f---ing lightly, because what I'm going to do to you is going to be f---ing disgusting."

https://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/05/politics/donald-trump-adviser-michael-cohen-back/

Yeah, who among us hasn't excused rape and threatened people to protect somebody that they care about???

It also makes me wonder about Jason Greenblatt. He seems remarkably clean for someone associated with Trump; he was made Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations, dealing with Israel, it seems. No achievements in that role, but it is a tough one.

Run by trump and his family. How long before he starts in whining he's the victim , they're unfair, and he'll threaten them , then try bribing them , then start in falsely accusing them . Again just another example of him accusing others of what he's accused of doing with his company , and his foundation. He accused President Obama of wiretapping him , so did he do that to someone? He accused Hillary of health issues, is he hiding health issues from the American people? He accused Hillary of being so crooked investigations would go on forever, and accused Hillary and Bill of running a corrupt foundation. So listen to him accuse others, and think he's doing this to deflect his crimes with. We'll see tax fraud, money laundering, two sets of books, and many people choosing to tell the truth rather than lie for trump, or refuse to be loyal to this criminal . HE will continue to try to deflect , create other outrageous headlines for distraction , but it won't work as everyone is onto his games he plays. He'll claim he's a political victim, when we are the victims of his policies, and his corruption and treason. He has to resign quickly or he and his family will be done , and go to prison. I'd bet he's already discussing resignation for a deal, but he may get off with treason to resign now, or face the consequences for what he's done. He'll put pressure on the KGOP to get is judge in place to protect them all with now , but even that will fail. Its over for trump because a lot more is coming, and he knows it.
