I do believe that kids even that young pick up on differences or notice if someone is a social pariah and thought their story would be more likely to be believed if they blamed it on him.

It's not right to leave up something that was made up on the board, people who don't know pass it along and look like fools or liars.

5 and 7 year old children don't usually come up with these kind of vile accusations in a vacuum
