....FISA abuse, Christopher Steele & his phony and corrupt Dossier, the Clinton Foundation, illegal surveillance of Trump Campaign, Russian collusion by Dems - and so much more. Open up the papers & documents without redaction? Come on Jeff, you can do it, the country is waiting!
Ex-NSA contractor to spend 63 months in jail over classified information. Gee, this is small potatoes compared to what Hillary Clinton did! So unfair Jeff, Double Standard.

(47,430 posts)He has used the same old tired corrupt tricks in his business life for decades. He evidently thought he was untouchable. Such reckless arrogance has been the downfall of many tyrants.

(7,725 posts)Something tells me this stuff was handled in the past by threatening phone calls from a fixer type person. This sounds like he doesn't have a mouthpiece anymore and he is using twitter as his platform. As one angle.

(47,430 posts)The rats are all jumping ship. There is no loyalty in Trump world and he can't find anyone to do his very dirty work anymore. All those years of using and abusing the people in his world his coming back to bite him in the ass. He cultivated fear and intimidation, when he should have been cultivating loyalty and friendship.

Can't wait for some new indictments today.

(47,430 posts)He is selling the image of being bigger and better than everyone else, but inside he is a very insecure man who can only keep people around him with threats and bribes. I would wager that no one who actually knows him, likes him. There is nothing to like.
I am getting rather addicted to new indictments! Need my Friday Fix!

(12,586 posts)He could be a lot more efficient. All he has to do is create a macro for his rants, and then he'll only have to press one key to regurgitate his greatest hits all over the internet.
I wonder if he'll ever get that Hillary didn't win, and that having your Justice Department prosecute a political opponent is the sign of a dictator. I doubt it. After all, his BFF in Russia does it all the time.

(49,001 posts)The next closest was Shrub Bush who lost by 500,000 votes but won the Electoral College.
HRC got the second highest vote count in history, behind Obama.

(12,586 posts)While deciding Bush v. Gore, the SCOTUS was locked in a 4-4 tie, with Kennedy undecided but leaning toward Gore. As the evening wore on, however, Scalia (God rest his soul) literally brow beat Kennedy into submission. He wore the exhausted justice down.
The rest is history.
BTW, I searched for the article where I read this anecdote, but it was written in the middle of the Bush years, and all my searches turned up only current biographical information on Scalia and Kennedy.

(49,001 posts)"Jeff" might be a carry-over from that, but surely he aired all of these grievances with "Jeff" at that time.
The Q cult will tell you that the tweets are all an act and that "Jeff" is going to drop Thor's hammer on HRC, Podesta, Obama, et al any day now. Then again, Q said it would all bust wide open in July and the world would "know the truth".

(14,491 posts)Many of us have always felt his Tweets are written by staff, although he may approve and hit the "send" button. He has minders that are steering the Trump ship - some for policy goals and others relating to his legal and personal disasters.
I suspect there's people that assemble them into his Twitter account (perhaps on a desktop), but the big question is "who composes them?" Perhaps multiple sources, say Miller, Hannity, Mercer, and others?
One thing's obvious: he's stupid enough to approve most anything they propose. Therefore, as some legal heads have suggested based on the legal implications of some of the texts, he's a total puppet.

(30,481 posts)Sessions is one of her favorites. Any conversation we have these days about Trump starts with her telling me how disgusting Trump is for his attacks on Sessions. She will not vote for Trump in the primaries if he is challenged. She will vote for him in the general if he is on the ballot. She will do so while saying he is one of the most damaging Republicans in history. She voted for Roy Moore all while saying he was a sick man.
