Dumb criminal of the week-Man posts flier advertising meth for sale

Web reporter
Q13 FOX News Online

SEATTLE—
Certainly it's good to advertise the products you have for sale, but if what you're selling is illegal narcotics, it's probably not such a good idea to publicly advertise that.

As it turns out, that's exactly what one enterprising guy did. It should come as no surprise then that when a police officer saw the posted flier for meth, he did his due diligence and called the number on the flier.

An undercover narcotics officer with the Seattle Police Department called the number, spoke to the man whose name was listed on the flier and set up a time to buy some meth.

When the officer walked up to the suspect in his car, he noticed the man had his dog with him and what looked like a gun in the man's lap, but it turned out to be a glass pipe shaped liked a gun that the suspect then used in front of the officer.

The suspect was not arrested on drug charges, but he is being held in King County Jail ...

I was convinced that the sentence would end ... "for terminal stupidity."
