Duncan Hunter tried to pin blame on his own son-but he believes in "preserving family values"

Mr. Hunter’s campaign released a statement calling the indictment politically motivated and linking it to his support for President Trump; he was one of the first sitting members of Congress to endorse Mr. Trump in 2016. Mr. Hunter’s campaign said he has no plans to drop out of his reelection race. It’s worth noting that the U.S. Attorney’s Office that brought the charges against Mr. Hunter is run by Adam L. Braverman, a Trump administration appointee. Also, Mr. Hunter’s willingness to point the finger at others was pretty well established when questions first arose about his campaign funds. He tried to pin the blame for the video game purchases on his son, claiming the boy had mixed up credit cards.

& From Duncan Hunter's web site

As a husband and father of three, I strongly believe in preserving family values and protecting the life of our most innocent—the unborn. Life begins at the moment of conception and, therefore, the unborn baby should receive all the rights and protections afforded to every citizen under the Constitution.

Typical of him.

I have always found him to be smarmy. This proves it right here

Right, a child goes shopping with his father's credit cards. How completely ridiculous.

I was distracted during a CBS report last night but there was one deduction he wrote off as "a Christian thing". One would think telling the Navy to go fuck themselves would sink his battleship.

Thank you for your lip service, Congressman.

his district, and am represented by the 'esteemed' Darrell Issa. Fortunately, he's running for the hills this fall and will be replaced by a Democrat.

Same with this guy now. Those of us around here are already aware that he's a real beauty. He was stridently proud of his support for Dump.

He's already blamed his wife, his kid, his accountant, his campaign staff and of course the Democratic Deep State Doom Squad in the DOJ for his own fucking mess.

He overdrew his bank account 1,100 times over the course of a handful of years, incurring more than $37,000 in fees. Who the fuck does that except someone so full of hubris that he knows there's another trough of donor money waiting for him?

He's done, and good riddance.
