YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! ...No, they really can't

This is sad and astonishing to watch. As a long time news follower I've some crazy things but this has to top them.

I'll skip over the full media onslaught that sold the War in Iraq and go just to domestic stories. The two that still stick out in my mind were Terri Schiavo and the Chik-fil-a "protests". Those were just Fox News leading the herd to a different watering hole. There were other stories of course but nothing at the time that compares to the magnitude what we've seen this week. Even during "Watergate" (correct me if I'm wrong) there was no one instance in a courtroom or even Congressional testimony that was so concrete as the President of the United States being named even as a pronoun "Individual-1" not just complicit in a crime but actually directing it- in a court of law and became a part of public record.

They can't handle the truth. They just can't.
They can't be allowed to see the truth. Hell, six days ago the words "the truth isn't truth" we're actually spoken - TV not a courtroom but that's the point. Two days later their ALL their beacons of "news" ran into an Iowa cornfield to escape what was happening....and of course the believers followed.
