This is nuts. A paranoid autocrat encourages a political prosecution of a former opponent long after an investigation says prosecution was not warranted. And what GOPers are going to complain?

Ex-NSA contractor to spend 63 months in jail over “classified” information. Gee, this is “small potatoes” compared to what Hillary Clinton did! So unfair Jeff, Double Standard.

You know what, Hillary?

Don’t hold back!

He'll do whatever he wants to do until he's told not to do it.

So yes, the Midterms will provide the only "checks and balances" on his insanity, because during what has to have been the worst single week of his presidency to date, the Republicans have been silent.

And I'm not talking about "unnamed sources" who let a cowardly "Oh, this is terrible" sound bite out to the media. I'm talking about any Republican in a position of authority stepping up and saying "Enough is enough." Hasn't happened. Probably won't, no matter what he tries to pull.
