Best wishes and comfort to the McCain family. He was a true public servant that served his country in time of war and paid a horrible price for it.

That beautiful moment in 2008 when he temporarily suspended his campaign. It was a thing of beauty. It didn't really require him to do all that much.

Rest with the knowledge of what you have done. May your family find peace in your numerous courageous moments, most in your youth.

Glad McCain has done this. I absolutely despise that man, as a human being and a Senator, but this is one right decision he's made.

The cancer took my dad in a month. Of course I miss him, but it was relief when it was finally over and the suffering ended.
