Breaking: Former CDC head Tom Frieden charged with forcibly touching woman

Thomas Frieden, former director of the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention and former New York City Health Commissioner, was arrested Friday and charged with forcible touching, according to the New York Police Department.
The NYPD says the alleged incident happened in Brooklyn in October 2017 where officials say he grabbed the buttocks of a 55-year-old woman.
He is currently in NYPD custody and is expected to head to Brooklyn Criminal Court for arraignment.
A law enforcement official said that the alleged victim and Frieden had known each other for several years.

I knew him professionally, not personally, but something doesn't seem right on this one. I hope for his sake it is not.

Damn it, your comment is sooooooooo wrong. I don't know if he is guilty of this or it is a set-up, but the man is NO Trumper. He's a good guy.

Frieden is widely regarded as one of the top public health authorities in the world, and is credited with increasing U.S. involvement in fighting the 2014-16 Ebola outbreak. He helped secure billions of dollars in global funding to turn the tide in the outbreak, which killed 11,300 people.

Frieden is currently the CEO of Resolve, an initiative backed by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that aims to save 100 million lives and increase global epidemic preparedness.
