One by One, Trump's "Buddies" Are Slinking Away.

One by one, they are choosing to act in their own interests, rather than to protect Trump. As his circle's perimeter shrinks, he has less and less space to move around in. When he no longer has a protective circle, he'll stand alone.

Regardless of his high opinion of himself and his ability to shrug off bad news, there will come a point when he realizes that he has lost. Everything. I hope that point is near. I hope he finally collapses in on himself and can be swept away with the other debris on the floor.

The human instinct for self-preservation is at least as strong for criminals as for anyone else. When their livelihoods and freedoms are threatened, they'll squeal enmasse like a pig farm.

From the Manafort side, the only one left to indict is Trump.

Do I smell toast getting over done?

I think they're holding off for something more serious on Trump.

Will trump finally lose it and be removed because he is lashing out violently and finally beginning to scare republicans?
Will he be removed because republicans finally get tired of all of the media oxygen being consumed by trump's bottomless corruption?
Will this whole thing drag on until 2020 when trump is defeated in a primary challenge or by a democratic wave?

It seems inevitable that he is going down, and that there will be crimes for him to answer for once he topples. Its also breathtaking how unwilling republicans are to hold him accountable. It could come out that the trump foundation was disposing of bodies for the Russian mafia, and the paul ryan would grimace a little and say that he's heard the reports and needs more information.

He will get a promise from Pence that he will be pardoned and he will walk away from the White House.

That's how I think it will end. It could happen soon or later. I don't know. I do believe that will be how it happens, though.

I don't think it's consistent with his behavior. I think he would view resignation as an act of weakness, and it seems very important for him to avoid being seen as weak.

I personally think he will need to be dragged out of the white house kicking and screaming - maybe in a literal sense.
