Giuliani States The Obvious: 'The President Is Not A Lawyer'

Rudy Giuliani responded to President Trump’s suggestion that defendants flipping “almost ought to be illegal” by pointing out that his client “is not a lawyer.”

In an interview with the New York Daily News, Giuliani told the paper: “I don’t think he’s against the idea of cooperation. He’s against the idea of getting people to lie.”

I'd like to see the media point that out, as well, whenever Trump weighs in with his non-lawyer opinion on legal issues and questions. Now that Giuliani has mentioned it, perhaps reporters will feel freer to include it in their stories, too.
