Getting lost in the Mollie Tibbits murder case

is the fact that a woman was killed after she refused a man's advances. Violence against women doesn't matter Republicans or the mainstream press unless the killer has a certain skin color.

I'm a woman who enjoys jogging at night, but basically can't. Women should not have to alter their behavior for fear of being attacked. Period.

seems incidental to me. If Rivera committed the crime, he didn't do it because he's an immigrant. His immigration status seems rather irrelevant to me.
