I think Meghan mentioned it (I'm not even going to say anything negative about Meghan at this time).

Note how Biden does not mention that because he is honoring his friend, not making it about himself.

Comforting Meghan when she became upset. They were discussing Beau and she nearly lost it, thinking about her father. He comforted her, talking about his longtime friendship with her father.
They were very close.
