3. I wasn't going to say anything about him , but having a conversation with you

is always fun at the least and rewarding at the best.
I really don;t have a view one way or the other, I guess..well, actually I guess I do because..And I'm just talking here...

- Think about it. suppose you or I, just regular human beings, had supported a war in Iraq, had joked about Bomb Bomb Bomb iran, had taken Palin as a VP candidate !! And on and on.

He did that thumbs down thing because he hated trump,-
.................
From POLITICAL AFFAIRS.NET-- 2008

--"...he (voted) against additional body armor for troops in combat and additional funding for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury screening and treatment. "

--"Veterans' groups have concluded that McCain has voted at least 28 times against veterans' benefits since arriving in the Senate in 1987"
.......
He was against universal health care and for 'open-market competition'....

Eh, that's enough.
I do not like him or dislike him. I never met him...but....

It seems to me that occasionally just doing what any balanced, intelligent, caring 'serving" human being would do, doesn't make one anything special. If a doctor's promise is 'first, do no harm,' well then McCain did a heap of harm.

But, it is over.....

And TOMORROW I will root for South Korea in the LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES !!! Difficult choice.. but I have a lot more friends in ROK than Hawai'i. (Although I rooted for Hawai'i today, THAT's for sure....)

sponsored a campaign finance reform bill with Russ Feingold and was instrumental in passing the Magnitzgey Act. Definitely a mixed bag. Most humans are , though.

Adding, we are not "better" than others, we are the same mix as everybody else. It is arrogant, prideful, hubris to claim otherwise, and having a blind spot to what we ourselves might be capable of for good or ill.
