...and he hates.him for it.

One refused to go to war; One refused to leave it.

Since Spanky is a projectionist,he really hates the coward part of him that a man such as the Senator makes him feel like. It gnaws at him.

He is going to look foolish in front of the entire world on the day of the funeral, at not being invited. He will stew.

I predict he'll do something big that day, big and awful, like the depths of his mind. He needs the attention all on him. Oh boy, hold on tight.
