Why aren't more media/pundits pressing for Romney to release his tax returns? (updated)

The demand should be at fever pitch right now.

Are they afraid of the unethical secrets it will reveal about how the rich game the tax code?

The impressive thing is, the Obama campaign knew full well this would happen, why is why they feed the machine every other day with a new tidbit. This week, they kept the story alive with Reid's, "my source is a Republican," and Romney's "Son of Boss," scam. I'm sure they have this gamed out right up to their convention.

I'll bet he won't release all of 2011 either. He'll just keep saying "It's not ready yet."

they are letting his spokes-A-holes get away with saying that 2 YEARS should be enough when he hasn't even released 1 single complete return.

It should be hammered!

"Perhaps because the state of our economy is so much more important."

...Romney doesn't have a plan for that either, and the media should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
