It's funny, my great grandparents made it to 76 or 77 years together. In my teens I couldn't wrap my head around it. Now I've been with Mrs. Glamrock for 25 years and and can't wrap my mind around life without her. I wish you both the very best and many more happy anniversaries!

Too many people throw in the towel after the initial infatuation stage wears off and they start seeing the other person as human with flaws as well as having their own ideas about what is and what should be. I believe that it is in this stage is where a real, lasting relationship develops.
