had NEVER lost a game..........A Soviet judge came out onto the court with just a few seconds left in the game and had the ball taken away from an American player.

But overall, that was a pretty wild Olympics, what with the terrorist kidnapping and murder of the Isreali wrestling team.................the stopping of the games for the day of mourning, Olga Korbut, Frank Shorter, Kip Keino (the Kenyan cop and accomplished long distance runner), ABC's Up Close and Personal interviews. I felt like I knew these athletes. I cared about these athletes.............

Also, synchronized swimming and synchronized gymnastics ARE NOT sports.

Also, NBC's coverage SUCKS!

Doug Collins made some heroic plays down the stretch but we got royally screwed. It was laughable, except it was the peak of the Cold War, Olympics version. If you want know why Reagan had an audience for his Evil Empire spiel, a little bit of the explanation is right there.
