Stormy Daniels On Her New Liberal Hero Status: 'I'm Just The Lesser Of Two Evils'

Stormy Daniels’ fan base has completely changed since she burst onto the national scene as one of President Donald Trump’s greatest potential pitfalls. After she had become acclimated to shows full of white working-class men, her audience suddenly became very female, very politically inclined and very angry.

According to a Tuesday Vogue profile, Daniels is taken aback by how scads of liberals and general Trump-haters have rallied to her side.

“People come up and they’re so emotional and they put so much on me. They’re like, ‘You’re going to save the world, you’re a patriot, you’re a hero,’ ” Daniels told Vogue. “It’s funny. It’s actually easier for me to handle the negative stuff. It’s not like I turned on Twitter today and was called a whore for the first time.”

“When I started this, I just wanted to save my own ass,” she continued, “not everybody else’s.”

She mentioned her alleged tryst with President Donald Trump, saying that she went to his suite where he asked her “good questions” about sex workers’ rights and unions. She said that when she came out of the bathroom, he was waiting in his underwear. She classified it as “normal people sex.”

She has no illusions, though, that her status as liberal hero is one set in stone. She has a keen awareness that the legal case—and further, how this chapter of history will be written—is yet undecided.

“I’m just the lesser of two evils,” she told Vogue. “Trump or Stormy? Which one am I gonna pick? Well, if I have to pick one, she’s got better hair.”
