There Will Be Blood

According to the Trumpster in a meeting with leading Evangelicals. If the GOP loses the House, there will be violence because his opponents are violent people.

From the article:

“They will overturn everything that we’ve done and they’ll do it quickly and violently, and violently. There’s violence. When you look at Antifa and you look at some of these groups — these are violent people,” the president said at the Monday meeting.

“The level of hatred, the level of anger is unbelievable. Part of it is because of some of the things I’ve done for you and for me and for my family, but I’ve done them,” he continued.

The IMPOSTER-IN-CHIEF is predicting an American uprising if he doesn't get his way.

How far is too far? What is the limit? And how can an American political party support this sort of trash talk that incites the worst instincts in people.

As far as I'm concerned, the Trumpster crossed that Rubicon 1000x already. But if Christian leaders buy into this, spew it in their churches, they are damned forever.

Never forget.

BTW, the Trumpster saved Christmas, the whole Merry Christmas nonsense. He received wild applause when he mentioned it.

Sickening.

The Evangelicals were never going to vote for the Democratic Party. I think the transactional nature of these churches--we'll support any sort of morally bankrupt candidate as long as he/she acts on our policies/issues--will ultimately weaken them. They're obviously hypocrites to the bone.

It's not even tossing around the threat of violence, as bad as that is, that incenses me. It's the fact that it's coming out of our White House, besmirching every value and tradition the Office of the Presidency has always held.

I will never forgive these suckers, Republicans, for what they've done to the entire country. Never!

It makes me sick when I think about my late father, an old school Republican and WWII Navy vet. He would be horrified to see what has become of this country.

I do have a friend who attends an Evangelical church, but she has come over to the sane side of the street. I'm not sure how she does it, but she does. She's still deeply religious, but she's also a deeply kind person as well. Her ex-husband (note I said EX) is a fundy lunatic.

But there are many more them us than there are of them. All we need to do is show up at the polls and vote these zombies out.

I don't expect any wide-spread violence despite what the Trumpster says. What I find despicable is the irresponsibility of the statement, the dishonor it does to our entire democratic system. If Trump had his way we'd all turn into vigilantes, settling every score in the street. Rather than at the polls.

He's trying his hardest to chip away at the very definition of the country. That's what I find reprehensible.

We should follow Dr. King and be peaceful at all times. But make no mistake: there will be no finding commons ground with the GOP leadership. We defeat the GOP at the polls and in the court of public opinion - defeat them - or the country as we know it is over.

One could argue churches should not enjoy tax exemptions in general.

Churches cannot deny that they are involved politically.

Other citizens and tax payers hould not be required to subsidize groups that break the intent of tax law, politically brain wash and bully people, and who act far too often against the general welfare of society.
