Can't Help But Wonder ...

The Republicans are promoting the idea that if the Democrats take over the House, they will un-do everything Trump has done – and will work to impeach him. This is obviously meant to scare their constituents into going out to vote.

But you can’t help but wonder how many anti-Trumpers are hearing the words “un-do what Trump has done” and “impeachment” as motivation to get out and vote for Democrats.

I’m sure there are plenty of voters out there who may not usually vote in midterm elections, but will be motivated by the idea that voting this time could lead to undoing Trump’s disastrous policies – and possibly getting rid of him completely.

While attempting to scare Republicans into voting in order to prevent possible impeachment, the term “impeachment” is actually music to a LOT of ears.

We’ll never know how many people will actually be motivated to vote based on making that possibility a reality.

Well done, GOP!!!

If they have a list of 52 things that the Democrats will investigate, and or use to impeach the buffoon in chief, why haven’t the Republicans taken a closer look at even 20% of that long list? If they recognize that those are things that are worth investigating, why didn’t the Republicans investigate it? Remember, this is not a list that Democrats compiled and that the Republicans somehow obtained. It’s a list that Republicans compiled.

Can you say co-conspirators? Or how about collaborators? Hypocrites works for me, as does fascists.

That said, thank you, Republicans, for going to the trouble of compiling this list, which democrats can now use in the midterms.

because it would motivate the deplorables to vote, which IMO only feeds into the meme that Dems are weak.

If it were up to me, I'd embrace the impeachment issue -- I think that would actually fire up a lot more Democrats, independents, and disaffected Republicans to get out and vote. There's more of us than of them.

... to run on the issue of impeachment. Their response has been that they're waiting for Mueller to complete his investigation - after which impeachment may be the obvious and necessary course of action.

Thanks to Robert Mueller and his team, the Dems don't have to make a case for impeachment - the evidence against Trump & Co is being gathered by an independent body, and will be revealed to the public at the appropriate time. Dems can then sit back and watch events unfold as they should, without ever having to lift a finger.

Seems like that if they lose they may get violent, but I guess Dirty Diaper Don knows how his base thinks.

... but I think you mis-spoke.

There is no "leap of logic" here - because there is NO logic to anything Spanky says or does - or, as Giuliani would tell you, "logic isn't logic".
