The Republican Mutineer's Playbook

Source: The Stranger

Solid-gold Slog tipper Dan tipped me off to this PDF circulating among Republicans. This is a book demanding that Republicans throw Romney overboard at the convention for a more Republican nominee. It's sponsored by a formerly pro-Santorum group, and it's titled DUMP ROMinee: Why Tampa’s Republican Delegates must Dump Romney to Defeat Obama: A MANIFESTO. On the cover is a photograph of a male soldier kissing his male lover in front of an American flag with the warning beneath: "Obama's America - Romney's America."

The book is a litany of homophobic and anti-Mormon conspiracy theories, asking if Romney could be "a fibber, a charlatan, a con-man" with "the irrationalist DNA, polytheistic tenets and lie-filled history of the mind-
controlling enterprise into which the GOP frontrunner and his forebears were born." It says he regards "manipulative, exemplary sex predators...as holy prophets" and accuses Romney of bringing gay marriage to Massachusetts as a prelude to the legalization of polygamy.

Nothing more to say about this except it belongs on The Twilight Zone.
