So what does trump know that he needs to hide 100,000 pages of kavanaugh records???

I know the Dems don't have a lot (or any) power in Congress, but they could at least make a token effort to resist Donnie Two Scoops' evil agenda. For example, they could just refuse to show up until the 100,000 Kavanaugh documents are produced, making sure everyone knows it's unprecedented and asking over and over again, "What's this president* got to hide this time? Why are the Senate Republicans colluding with him to keep the American people from finding out? This is not something John McCain would have stood for. (Keep throwing him in their faces) What don't they want us to know?"

Over documents that didn't originate from his own Executive?
And even IF I bought for a second that there's some legal Avenue for him to do this, aren't those records the rightful property (and in the safekeeping) of the BUSH library or archive?
Couldn't Jr just release them to whoever he wanted to?, regardless of what trump wants?
