Look For The Union Label

Look for the union label
when you are buying that coat, dress or blouse.

Remember somewhere our union's sewing,
our wages going to feed the kids, and run the house.

We work hard, but who's complaining?
Thanks to the I.L.G. we're paying our way!

So always look for the union label,
it says we're able to make it in the U.S.A.!

I walked the AT&T picket line with my sister and Dad during my summer vacation when I was 9. I tried to unionize Macy's and got into trouble for it. Then I became a union rep at my school when I became a teacher (the principals always targeted me for it). Unions rock!

Happy Labor Day!

told to me by classmates, their parents, and their grandparents who took part in it. My mother was 10 ~ 11 years old and lived half a block from a school where the National Guard made camp.

I'm very proud of them and proud to call Flint my hometown.

But I know that many managers support their union workers. Albeit quietly.

We realize good pay and working conditions for the workers means it for all.

Unfortunately that support ends at the Boardroom.
