Woodward's 1994 book "The Agenda" did not go easy on the Clinton administration

The book, written as a behind the scenes look into the first year of the Clinton White House, showed sporadic squabbling amongst administration officials. It showed numerous individuals, including President Clinton himself, using rough language at various points of frustration.

Not for a second do I think any of it was untrue in the least.

Sausage making is an unflattering process. Even people with well polished public personas lose their cool behind closed doors.

The difference between Woodward’s The Agenda and Fear is that the former depicted a legitimate, functional presidency, warts and all, and the latter depicts a presidency that will go down as a treasonous bastard of US history.

The spats were made all the more entertaining by the reader, Kevin Spacey.

Perhaps the publisher could get Scott Baio or Gary Busey to do the honors for this one.

Woodward should send a copy to Tiger Woods as "respect for the office" reading.
