Kellyanne Conway privately admits that Bob Woodward is credible -- and his book is 'damaging': report

Although President Donald Trump has started attacking the credibility of reporter Bob Woodward and his new book, “Fear: Trump in the White House,” at least one of his top advisers believes Woodward has the goods on the Trump White House.

The Washington Post reports that Conway has privately been telling people that “Woodward was credible and that his book could be damaging.”

Another former Trump official, who spoke with the Post on condition of anonymity, admitted that there is nothing in Woodward’s book that strikes them as untrue or implausible given their own experiences working within the Trump White House. “I’m not sure why everyone is acting so shocked,” the official told the publication.

Woodward’s book, which is set to release next week on September 11th, paints a devastating portrait of President Trump and his White House. According to leaked tidbits published by the Washington Post, Trump aides regularly conceal information from the president to stop him from making disastrous policy decisions.

Additionally, Woodward reports that Defense Secretary James Mattis believes the president has the policy understanding of a “fifth grader,” that chief of staff John Kelly regularly calls Trump an “idiot,” and that former Trump attorney John Dowd believes the president is a “f*cking liar.”
