Passengers hospitalized after suspected cholera case on Algeria-France flight

French authorities evacuated 141 passengers and crew from a flight arriving in the French city of Perpignan from Algeria on Wednesday after a child on board was suspected of being infected with cholera, the fire brigade said.

The eight-year-old child was taken to hospital for checks after suffering bouts of vomiting and diarrhea during the flight, a fire brigade official said.

A police source said the child’s mother and several passengers sitting near them were also hospitalized.

Another child remained on board with another person, authorities said.

The remaining passengers and crew were being kept on the tarmac before being transported to a decontamination facility for checks, the authorities said.

And all three flights seem to be infected with something different. Weird...almost like we're being experimented on.

It looks like so far the authorities are catching these illnesses and containing them by grounding and isolating the airplanes. These are probably measures already put in place in preparation for just such incidences.

If these are terrorist activities the countries are evidently prepared. That’s the good news.

That was the moment the world knew it was terrorism, not an accident.

But so far these incidences are being contained. Western countries have prepared for these incidences. I hope it is just a coincidence though!

Like biological terrorism or something. They don't seem to have taken much of a toll, yet. But you never know how far it can go.
