I wonder if it is true that he talks about the ghosts in the WH haunting him.

It would mean he knows he is a liar, cheat and traitor.

and i very much doubt he believes in ghosts, certainly not the kind of ghosts that "haunt" people. that's a peculiar manifestation of a guilty conscience, and he demonstrably has none.
