Too bad the repubs have the votes to confirm kavanaugh. I say this because I don't want anyone blaming the Dems for not stopping the vote. Unless kavanaugh is borked, he will be confirmed.

What I want to know is this: Kavanaugh says he follows precedent when ruling on cases. SOMEONE sets a precedent sometime. Does he not see himself as a precedent setting kind of guy?

He is a member of the Federalist Society. That whole gang (and i use that word including the connotation) thinks they have all the answers to everything already. Nothing to learn. They're 100% correct.

Of course, he is unafraid to set precedent by, oddly enough, going backward.
