Can the Dems call other witnesses to the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing??

Like could they call Justice Roberts and ask him if he believes 100,000 missing documents is ok on his court? Could they ask Justice Roberts if he would have Kavanaugh recuse himself if anything Trump related came before the Supreme Court?

Could they call Trump to ask him about the documents or if Trump believes justices should be impartial or should be on one side or the other?

No justice, and not even the Chief Justice, can require another justice to recuse him or herself.

to testify at Kavanaugh’s hearing. I don’t know if that is still the plan, but I have not heard of any change. If he does testify, that would send a strong message, although not strong enough to change a Republican’s mind.

emails stolen from Leahy's computer to ask whether he discussed the fact that they were stolen with Kavanaugh.
