Stylometry could tell us who the op-ed author is

Assuming the author has some public previous docs out there to work with for comparison. Lots of tools out there to determine authorship and people who know how to use them.

Not that this WH would be smart enough to do it. But I do think we will know sooner rather than later.

Consider this person the "Deep Throat" of the trump admin.

But this is just , like, my opinion, man.

I would bet there are people out there right now working on the stylometry.

Regardless, the person will come out eventually. Be great if those inside members of the resistance would come out en masse and go to Congress with their experiences.

A low tech solution is to have a trusted confidant take what you wrote and rewrite it.

I'm just not sure how up on tech a WH staffer is. Regardless, it is not a crime so it's not like the person would go to jail, no matter what shitgibbon says. Just another former WH employee.

Hi. I found your post and your forum because I was actually doing stylometry on the op ed using the same online tool you suggested. I compared speeches from Pence, Pompeo, Coats and Kelly to the op ed. It always comes up Kelly, usually with a high degree of confidence...

For spending the time. And welcome to the forum!

Kelly was one of my top candidates but most guessers like O'Donnell aren't naming him. I thought it might be a second tier person but of the higher ups Kelly was one of my choices.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out. You could post your findings here if you want or when you get enough posts you should make a thread.
