THAT is why, when you believe the cause is just, you ALWAYS fight, even when "everyone knows" you're going to lose. You slow them down. You make them dot all the "i's" and cross all the "t's". In politics, NOTHING is "inevitable".

Not always, but sometimes, unnoticed doors open.

We need to have as many fronts as possible opening against Trump and his regime. It's like when people criticize Avenatti. I don't really give a crap if he runs in 2020. Right now I just want him staring down Trump in the media. When you are at war, you can't always pick the best allies, just the most effective ones. Ask Roosevelt and Churchill.
