(17,331 posts)that the NY Times had confirmed the identity of the authority for the sake of journalistic credibility. I don't think they'd play along with Trump's charade if they knew it was him, but I suppose they could have been duped by one of his cronies on his behalf?

(42,770 posts)read on CNN. One thing stuck out to me....the "we've accomplished a lot" or something like that. That is total utter bullshit. they have not. Any of the 16? Republicans who ran against Trump would have signed the tax bill into law - and even better for their side - they would have had input.
what they tout is "deregulation". Which sounds good on paper.
It is up to us, and our candidates, to research that and see what horrible things underlie "deregulation."
that said, whoever wrote the OpEd - it must have been several people, IMHO. The cadence was all way off and more like multiple voices/thoughts combined.

He(?) seems to have a particular interest in economic policy and national security, and he said he was one of an unstated number of administration officials who were disturbed that Trump is so totally mental that he's fucking up everything, including what these devoted GOPers want to accomplish.
